Physical Therapists

Mike received his Master of Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in '01 and has over 15 years of diverse clinical experience. He began his career in Los Angeles at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute before practicing with the film and television industry's outpatient clinics. He has worked in neurological and inpatient rehabilitation at Providence St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank, and also lived in in Boulder, Colorado treating the occupational health and athletic populations while enjoying the mountains.

Eventually returning to the east coast, Mike joined the COR team in 2010, soon earning his Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist(OCS). Mike strongly believes that a carefully designed exercise program and proper education empower each patient to be an active participant in their recovery. He emphasizes motor control and movement awareness along with applying manual treatments such as Graston Technique, muscle energy, and trigger point dry needling.  As a competitive cyclist and runner himself, Mike enjoys working with the local endurance athlete community, particularly with stride assessment and bike fitting.

Outside of the clinic, Mike has been active with the organization Health Volunteers Overseas since 2008, teaching physical therapy colleagues in the developing world. His assignments have brought him throughout South America, South East Asia, and most recently, the Himalayan kingdom of Bhutan.

Gina graduated from American University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, moving on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 from UMD Eastern Shore. She has been a member of the COR team since 2013 and strongly believes in customizing treatment to each patient's needs.

Gina emphasizes combining  manual therapy techniques with systematic, therapeutic exercises to maximize the benefit of each session. With a particular interest in hands-on treatment, she applies techniques including Mulligan Concept, muscle energy, and trigger point dry needling to assist in treating a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal conditions. Gina is constantly developing her skills through continuing education courses, keeping in touch with the latest research in the physical therapy profession.

Fluent in Russian, Gina enjoys working with our local Russian patient population. In her spare time, she loves going on nature adventures with her husband and two little boys.

Edwin earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Howard University in 2012. With an interest in treating sports and orthopedic cases, he went on to complete a 15-month orthopedic residency with NxtGen and earned his Board Certification as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
Edwin treats his clients with an evidence-based approach integrating manual therapy and customized exercises to promote recovery and maximize function. In addition, he holds a certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) through NASM to best serve his athletic patients returning to sport. Edwin is also experienced in trigger point dry needling, a technique which uses a filament needle to address myofascial pain.
In his free time, Edwin enjoys weight training and playing recreation basketball, as well as spending time with friends and family.

AllanWallaceA Towson, Maryland native, Allan became interested in physical therapy while earning his B.S. in Kinesiology from UMD in 2008. He then worked as personal trainer, fitness center director, wellness specialist and bicycle fitter before moving on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Howard University in 2016.
Allan has been racing bikes for over 12 years, twice competing at Collegiate National Championships. He enjoys working with the athletic community and continues to be active himself in road, cyclocross, and mountain biking.
Allan is a familiar face here at COR, working for over two years as an aide before graduate school and is excited to be back in the clinic. Allan particularly enjoys treating injuries of the lower extremity, and uses his diverse background in sports and wellness to return his patients to a healthy and active lifestyle.
