Hiza_Mbwana_DPTOur Clinic Director, Dr. Hiza R. Mbwana was awarded his Doctor in Physical Therapy degree (DPT) from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. He was born in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. However, grew up in Ithaca, NY. Dr. Hiza brings experience of his outpatient and inpatient clinical background. Dr. Hiza's experience is in manual therapy, strengthening and conditioning, and neurodevelopment in the treatment of moderate to severe musculoskeletal disabilities in all age ranges. Hiza was also awarded the top Physical Therapist award 2010 in the Washingtonian Magazine. Outside the clinic, he enjoys mountain biking, kayaking, running, personal training and soccer.
